Dmitry “Dima” Strakovsky is an artist, teacher, curator, and technologist. He completed his MFA degree at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and teaches at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. Dima's work spans diverse media and conceptual interests. Collaborative performances, media installations, drawing and sculptural works are just some of the examples of different modalities that define his output. His work has been included in a variety of exhibitions and events at venues such as Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Moscow Biennale and Mediations Biennale (Poznan.)
These days he spends most of his time on Infinite Industries, a project that was spun up after years and years of thinking, and overthinking, about how to create more of a robust audience for experimental contemporary culture. He was super lucky to have found a dedicated crew of folks who share this vision and are working together on a new and better code base for cultural goodness.
